Judging from Quixel’s video, he has no intention of attempting to recreate the entirety of CS:GO and is just looking to bring new life to one of the game’s most memorable locales. The Dust 2 remake is an interesting addition to what has become a growing field of fan-made game remakes.
Quixel’s remake doesn’t include the entirety of Dust 2, but even just the small portion he made is brilliant. The remake is meticulously made, with detailing and textures that add a lot of character to the desert-themed map.
